sunday currently vol. 39

reading: just finished reading still house pond a couple of days ago, and now i'm back to reading some fluffy fanfics i've bookmarked. so i just looked at my book pile and on top is the story keeper by lisa wingate, and i was a few chapters in it before i started on once upon a time: red's untold story and then still house pond. i've finished the two latter books but not the story keeper yet so will go back to that by this week.

writing: this. duh! and that fanfic. yeah.

listening to: nothing.

thinking: about tomorrow, the weeks ahead, the extra training i have to undergo before the belting, and that how fast the time flies for tomorrow it's freaking april already. i do believe my bro and i were just at my cousin's birthday dinner yesterday when in fact that was in the first half of february. and at that time we thought that our new year's family reunion was just the day prior our cousin's birthday.

smelling: nothing. but thank God i got over my cold already.

wishing: i could be at the beach.

wearing: glasses, big yellow shirt, shorts.

loving: any time that i could get for myself.

wanting: that green belt in arnis of course. which is why i will try to gun for an extra training day during weekdays.

needing: to relax. 

feeling: like i want to go to bed already even after taking a nap this afternoon.

major throwback feels when i revisited an old blog of mine. major cringefest as well as i read some twelve to thirteen-year-old entries haha. i had a golden year in blogging then and it was in 2007, when my food and travel blog began to pick up and i met a lot of awesome people online with similar interests. some of them i met personally, and up until now we've remained friends. those i haven't met in person, we've moved on to being friends on fb. it was a grand time indeed. 

and in reading that old blog reminded me of a song entitled Romance for Journey by Daishi Dance, a dj from japan. it's from his first album The P.I.A.N.O Set and it's the first song of his that i fell in love with that same year. i remember just chilling in my cousin's bedroom one spring day in Florida, emailing some friends as i listened to random songs in radioblogclub. one moment i was composing a novel-like email, and then my ears caught the most melodious sound the next. needless to say, Romance for Journey was my song of the year back in 2007 and forever will remain one of my favourite songs.
