because i'm listening to one of my favourite songs of all time. just gotta love frankie valli's falsetto!

so glad it's saturday. i didn't get to do what i originally planned but it's all right since i was able to accomplish the second task on my to-do list: get a mani-pedi. harhar!

i just love the silence that saturday brings. especially at night time. weekdays and daytime bring so much noise it's not even funny anymore. oh, wait. noise has never been fun.

this past week has been quite eventful, to say the least. the week before last, i got a call from a school i applied to telling me that i am scheduled for an interview the following monday. good thing i was allowed to choose my preferred time and so morning it was. thank God it went well. instead of going home right after, i went with my bro to cavite. had a very relaxing afternoon which became so much better and a little nerve-wracking at the same time cos i received a text from the school saying that i will be conducting a demo on wednesday. again, thank goodness it was in the morning since i had classes in the afternoon.

after the demo, i had this weird feeling. weird but in a good way. i think. because i feel at peace with whatever the outcome of my application would be.

yesterday was fun. after work i met up with a friend from my flying days. she is one of the very few people i really got along with who is not from my batch. i am not in the habit of writing down all my thoughts especially online anymore, which is why i haven't written anything that much about my flying stint. all i will say about it is that it had its moments somehow. amazing that i was able to maintain some of the few friendships i've made there. whoa, digress much lol.

anyway, this friend of mine has started a small business making macrame planters. i bought one from her, which is the reason for our meet up. and of course, the requisite catching up over dinner. a lot has happened since the last time we saw each other so it was really awesome to know what's up with her lately. now, i just hope that i am able to take care of the succulent plant that went with the planter. hahaha.

omg so i took to rereading the first blog i ever made (the ones on friendster and myspace not included). i wrote in there for a good six years before focusing on my food and travel blog instead. anyway. whoever that girl was in that blog, i wanted to strangle her. such an emotional, mushy, overdramatic being! needless to say, it was a cringefest that i don't think i want to repeat. but since i am such an old sentimental fool, the blog stays. until i decide to deactivate it.
